8 Lloyd’s Avenue Fit Out Completes

Parkeray’s 30-week refurbishment at 8 Lloyd’s Avenue has drawn to completion. The two-stage design & build project involved the strip out and refit of the Grade II listed building to Cat A to provide high-end offices for let.

A 19,000 sq ft fit out was delivered to six floors comprising office space, basement storage and a reception area and included structural works to provide new demised WCs, fully accessible raised floors and passenger lifts.

Quality fittings and finishes feature throughout while preserving the building’s listed fabric.  Stand out areas include the reception with a feature wall in burr walnut, marble flooring and a bespoke brass and leather desk, as well as the roof dome which features intricate gold detailing to ceiling cornices.

External works included the installation of a new rooftop plant, roof coverings and a louvred screen. The building was also externally cleaned and the front façade refreshed.
