VALUE
Confidential
Our team carried out the comprehensive refurbishment of Tintagel House, a 1960s building comprising 95,000 sq ft of internal office accommodation, with a new double-height extension to the main entrance.
We partnered with Universal Design Studio to provide 12 floors of office and coworking space ready-for-market; this involved the major overhaul of the building’s existing interior and exterior to a programme of 52-weeks. The ground and first floors comprise coworking spaces, meeting rooms, a café, kitchen, gym and reception space. Each floor is serviced by new male and female toilets including disabled facilities and shower room. The fit-out also involved the construction of a roof terrace and members’ penthouse on the 11th floor, with a sunken bath, adjoining bar area and meeting rooms.
An extensive joinery package features throughout with frontage screens, bespoke seating booths, wall panels and shelving units.
A new mechanical system serves all floors from a main basement plant room. New chillers sited on the 11th-floor roof provide heating and cooling. The electrical systems across all floors include new lighting, a fire alarm system and power supplies for mechanical, security and water mist systems.
Our team were later engaged to complete landscaping works to the rear of the building.
