Cycling RideLondon 100 for Alzheimer’s Society

On Sunday 31 July our Preconstruction Director Geoff Watson will be pedalling the ‘Prudential RideLondon100’ event to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society.

Celebrating the cycling legacy created by London2012, the ride will start at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and then follow a 100-mile route through the capital into the Surrey hills. The cyclists will take in some of the best views at Newlands Corner and the famous Box Hill – reaching the highest point in Surrey at Leith Hill at the 60-mile mark. After these leg-testing climbs on the county side, the cyclists return to the city and finish on The Mall outside Buckingham Palace.

Last time around the course Geoff had to battle the tail end of hurricane Bertha so this year, he is hoping for a calmer forecast!

As a company we recently had the opportunity to find out more about Alzheimer’s and how it affects people over and above the memory loss, so your support, however, small, will be much appreciated. If you would like to make a donation, please visit Geoff’s Ride London 100 Alzheimer’s Society sponsorship page here: Geoff’s Ride London 100 Alzheimer’s Society sponsorship page

Wishing Geoff good luck and a safe ride.
