VALUE
Confidential
Our team delivered the refurbishment of this seven-storey, Grade II-listed building in time for the start of the academic year. The new space features classrooms, design studios, lecture theatres, a library, café and communal areas, exposed services, bespoke joinery and biophilia. Despite challenges from delays in the previous refurbishment and a contractor’s administration, our team met the tight deadline with accelerated work and weekend hours. New services installations included fitting ventilation ductwork in the lightwells, which passed through windows and secondary glazing to the teaching spaces. We also fitted air handling units to the roof involving a partial road closure for a crane lift, supported by the City of London Highways.
