PROJECT
15 King Street, London, W1
CLIENT
The Crown Estate
ARCHITECT
Barr Gazetas
VALUE
Confidential
The building now benefits from seven floors of lettable office space with new services throughout. We worked closely with the client’s professional team and our trade contractors to achieve the maximum ceiling heights possible while maintaining the M&E requirements for each floor.
Other new amenities include bicycle storage, toilets and showers within the basement area, new WC facilities on each level and a ground floor reception area. The existing lift was also fully refurbished. Remedial works to the building’s exterior included the rear elevation, as well as structural repairs to a fire exit staircase. The structural steel plant enclosure on the roof was modified and a new plant was installed. We also cleaned the building’s external façade.
Sustainable features such as a daylight saving lighting scheme and a green roof attributed towards the project achieving a BREEAM ‘Very Good’ rating.
