We completed the project within this iconic building at Canary Wharf which included meeting rooms, open plan kitchen and dining space, lounge area, state of the art gym and also installed a new steel and timber staircase linking all levels. This involved removing the existing staircase, infill the structural slab and cutting through 2 floors to fit the new staircase.
The project was largely designed around sapele timber, including fluted wall panelling, doors and screens, tea points etc. The feature staircase had sapele handrail, fluted rear walls and sapele treads.
Services works included new compartment rooms and air handling units, plant rooms and comms room. All services were exposed, so exceptional workmanship was required. A new sprinkler system was fitted and linked into the main building system.
