Our team, led by Project Manager Ian Hodges, recently completed the premium fit out of the Regent Street Marketing Suite at 7 Air Street on behalf of The Crown Estate. Following Barr Gazetas’ redevelopment of the Grade II listed property, which dates from the 1920’s, our team was engaged to create a high-end presentation and exhibition space within the building’s mezzanine level.
Despite covering just 1,000 sq ft, the space was transformed into a premium, technology-led environment in which the property portfolio of The Crown Estate could be showcased.
Designed to reflect the 200-year heritage of Regent Street, all aspects of the project were bespoke and involved close collaboration with the professional team and client to bring the design concept to life.
Unique to the project was the arrangement of the floor plate, which is completely flexible and can be subdivided into zones by manually operated curtains. An advanced audio-visual installation also controls blinds and lighting.
High-end fittings, finishes and furniture feature throughout with the installation of a tea point and island unit, timber panelling, parquet flooring, coving to walls and bespoke copper light fittings. An interactive media table creates a focal point and coffee bar provides ample space for informal meetings.
7 Air Street is the first West End office refurbishment to have achieved a BREAAM ‘Outstanding’ rating. All works carried out by our team were executed to support this ground-breaking status.
