Parkeray is proud to announce the completion of new headquarters for a leading insurance company at 22 Bishopsgate, London. We are delighted to support their relocation to the building with the 25,000 sq ft fit-out of collaborative workspace on one of the highest floors within the building.
Our client’s ESG goals together with the building’s impressive environmental credentials saw both our project management and sustainability teams pull all the stops to achieve a stunning work environment which meets a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating.
The statement floor features all the necessary facilities to accommodate our client’s 200+ workforce, which was previously split across two floors. The new office space features ample space for work, play and well-being, with an entertainment area and lounge, meeting and video conference rooms, wellness and treatment rooms and a staff kitchen.
The vibrant reception area is home to pod seating, a bar area and a full-size golf simulator. The bespoke, grand reception desk also features a curved screen set in marble; imported from Turkey. The office space is also dog-friendly and includes two dedicated pet corners.
Extensive joinery features throughout the floor plate, with the entire central core clad with veneered timber slats. M&E works involved reconfiguring the existing Cat A system and providing state of the art video conference capabilities, with two bespoke large format video screens over six metres in length and OLED screens set to a specific curvature on-site by the AV contractor.
This challenging 22-week scheme involved close collaboration and teamwork and was a great project to have delivered alongside Savills, KKS Savills, Heasmans, GDM Group, PTS Consulting and Sandy Brown Associates.
Kudos to our supply chain and project management team led by Vince Bevan and Dan Ryding on the successful delivery of this stunning workspace.
We wish our client all the best in their new home.
