There were plenty of hugs, fist pumps and cheers of delight at the British Council For Offices (BCO) Awards Lunch on Tuesday 30 April, where (Project North) Parkeray HQ won the Projects up to 1,500M2 Award for the London region. 🤗
The BCO Awards Programme provides public recognition for top quality design and functionality and is a benchmark for excellence in workplaces. This year’s sold-out event was held at the Hilton Hotel, Park Lane and presented by Olympic legend and keynote motivational speaker, Sally Gunnell.
Parkeray HQ faced stiff competition from an array of top projects in London and was one of five schemes to make the shortlist. Recognised for challenging how office environments should work and feel, the judges were impressed with our use of a workplace psychologist to manage staff feedback at the beginning of the project, which resulted in a flexible space that has delivered a tangible impact on staff wellness and productivity.
We were delighted to share our magical, award-winning moment with our friends at Resonate Interiors, Clearsprings Engineering Sustainability, members of our project team and supply chain partners on the day.
“We are absolutely thrilled to have won a regional award, but to have won it for our own office is such an amazing feeling. It is a privilege to have so many wonderful Parkeray friends involved in delivering our new home. Having us all there celebrating together made for a very special afternoon indeed.” Clare Ashmore, Parkeray Main Board Director.
A lot of hard work, passion and dedication went into the design and fit out of our office space and we are beyond chuffed to be recognised by this prestigious industry award, which uniquely demonstrates our fit out expertise as the main contractor and journey from a client perspective.
So, what’s next? As the winner of the BCO London Regional Award, we automatically enter the BCO National Awards, which are held later in the year. We will be sure to keep you posted on the outcome.
