On Thursday 2 May, Parkeray had the pleasure of participating in the CvC Cambridge Construction Industry event, and what an incredible experience it was! The atmosphere was nothing short of electric, brimming with overwhelming support for this fantastic event aimed at supporting LandAid.
Back in 2014, the Cambridge Construction Industry (CvC) was conceived by Bidwells and SDC Buildings. Since then, it has rapidly evolved into a must-attend event for the industry in Cambridge, consistently raising substantial sums for charity.
Parkeray proudly sponsored the match ball for the Contractors vs Consultants Rugby game, where our very own Jamie Saunders was Captain of the Contractors team, along with teammates Rory Gillespie, Marcus Brown, and Bailey Upton. Furthermore, our representation in the hockey match by Sophie Riley and Beth Jepson was truly outstanding, with Beth receiving the well-deserved title of Player of The Match.
The Contractor’s team emerged victorious in the Rugby match, while the Hockey game, despite ending in a 3-3 draw, showcased impressive sportsmanship.
Congratulations to everyone who participated and raised an amazing total of £7,000 for LandAid. Excitement is already building for next year’s event, given that the CVC will be commemorating their 10th anniversary game. We look forward to taking part again!
