Parkeray Partners Brookfield Properties To Deliver Community Scheme

Parkeray was delighted to support Brookfield Properties delivery of a community scheme on behalf of the independent charity, Elhap.

Established in 1976, Elhap (Every Life Has a Purpose) provides adventure play opportunities to disabled and disadvantaged children, young people, and adults. The charity supports thousands of disabled children and attracts over 6,000 visits across North East London and Essex annually.

Our team, led by Ben Wills, Sam Overton and Ken Singh, worked closely with Andrew Wilkie at BDG Architecture to manage the refurbishment of Elhap’s office space in Woodford Green. We looked no further than our trusty supply chain members for assistance, who generously offered their time and labour to the effort.

The project involved converting the existing storeroom and meeting room area into three new office spaces and a meeting room to improve efficiencies and provide a modern environment for staff and visitors.

We coordinated the scope of work over a four-week programme, which saw the existing interior stripped out and the installation of acoustic wall panels, decorations and flooring. We also upgraded the power and data supplies and provided furniture to equip the space.

The result is simply fantastic! The renovated office spaces have positively impacted the charity and improved their working environment.

It is quite amazing seeing the before pictures. It is like someone has come in and waved a magic wand over ELHAP! I know, however, that in reality, it is actually pure hard graft that gets the work done, as well as a lot of cajoling and a huge amount of goodwill.” Johanna Merry | Chief Executive | Elhap

We are always happy to help and work with our clients to deliver initiatives with social value.
