Parkeray Partners with MSK for Tree Planting Initiative

On 1st November, Parkeray’s Sustainability Team partnered with Multi Services Kent (MSK) at Northfleet Urban Country Park for a day of tree planting to create a positive social impact.

Parkeray team members Beth Jepson, Chris Blencowe, Joe Murray, Fergus Adams, and Andrada Costin volunteered their time and labour, aiming to contribute to local reforestation efforts alongside MSK.

The day began with an ambitious challenge: beat the previous group’s record of planting 449 trees. With purpose and enthusiasm, the team got to work.

Midway through, the team received an unexpected twist. If they could plant an additional 101 trees, the combined total for both groups would reach 1,000 trees in just two days. Inspired by this new target, the team rallied, energised by the approaching goal and determined to finish the job.

By the end of the day, the team not only met their target of 551—they surpassed it, planting a total of 554 trees. Although those three extra trees may seem minor, each one contributes to a broader impact on sustainability.

This initiative highlights a core principle of sustainability: small actions, when combined, make a significant difference!
