On Tuesday 11 October 2016 we were delighted to host our second trade contractor event the ‘Parkeray Partnership Forum’ at the Royal College of Physicians.
With the strapline ‘Better Together’, the event set a precedence for working the ‘Parkeray Way’ with an emphasis on improving relationships with our existing supply chain members and fostering new ones.
Over 50 subcontractors from our network attended the breakfast event, where our CEO Mike Murray and Senior H&S Manager Peter Barlow, gave a presentation update on Parkeray’s business activities and working practices both off and on site.
To find out how we can further develop our working relationships with our supply chain feedback forms were issued to all attendees at the event. We’re super chuffed to announce that on average Parkeray scored ‘Very Good’ in meeting supply chain expectations as a main contractor and upholding Considerate Constructors Scheme values on site. There was also requests for us to host events such as this more frequently and to communicate on a regular basis with our supply chain – all of which we will be sure to act on!
This event was all about networking and collaboration. Attendees were able to engage with Parkeray staff face-to-face and with select members of our supply chain who exhibited their products and services at the event. A big thank you to Uvex, Eurotec Group, Globus, RVT Group and VPPLC for joining us on the day!
The Parkeray Partnership Forum reinforced our commitment to our teams and associates as we work together to ensure their health, safety and wellbeing while driving quality, fairness and fit out excellence across our service delivery. We look forward to hosting another event in the near future!
