Fit out and refurbishment main contractor Parkeray has secured a circa £2 million scheme with leading outdoor media owner Clear Channel.
The project commencing February 2016 will entail the 20,000 sq ft refit of the media owner’s existing International headquarters at 33 Golden Square. The building will undergo a significant refurbishment to create a flagship environment for the Clear Channel brand with updated facilities for its workforce.
Parkeray will provide new office accommodation over seven floors and front entrance, starting with the Cat A elements such as the core works and ceilings, followed by a refit to Cat B.
An intricate design scheme will be fitted across all floors, each themed and ranging in complexity with brand new M&E installations configured to suit, as well as the overhaul of existing lifts. The ground floor will feature a reception, café, informal meeting area and space for staff to hot desk. The basement is split into multiple areas including Clear Channel’s Playground: a state-of-the-art technology showcase, and meeting space and quiet areas, while floors one to six will comprise of general open plan office accommodation.
Commercial property and real estate consultants Cushman & Wakefield are responsible for the design and project management on a turnkey basis and will partner Parkeray in the delivery of the scheme.
The project will be carried out to a 20-week programme and is due to complete in June 2016.
