We are thrilled to announce that Roku’s Cambridge HQ won the BCO Fit Out of Workplace Award at the BCO Midlands and Central Awards Lunch, on Friday 19 May.
What a better way to celebrate this fantastic achievement, than with our client and members of the delivery team at the ICC in Birmingham.
The scheme delivered by Parkeray Regions at Building 2, Cambridge Science Park, was one of three projects shortlisted within the Fit Out of Workplace category. The BCO judging panel applauded the project for embracing the BCO’s Guide to Specification. And for showcasing Roku’s brand, ethos and culture by carefully accommodating the needs of its workforce. In addition to encouraging cross-collaboration with other businesses in the science park.
Parkeray Regions delivered the fit out of the four-storey building in 2022 to accommodate Roku’s growing workforce and to provide specialist lab facilities to enable the testing of products. As Parkeray Regions first scheme within the Cambridge area, this significant achievement demonstrates its capacity to service businesses and workspace providers across the Golden Arc.
Operations Director Chris Marshall commented: “Parkeray Regions were delighted to have been involved in the delivery of 87,000 sq ft space over a programme of 21 weeks for our client Roku. We worked closely with their professional team to provide a fit-for-purpose office and lab space for their rapidly expanding organisation to grow. Being recognised in the BCO Award process is a fantastic achievement for all and showcases our expertise in creating quality workplace environments. We could not be prouder.”
The countdown is now on for the BCO National Awards in October, where this project will compete nationally against the regional winners of the Fit Out Of Workplace category. We will keep you posted on the outcome.
