Just before Christmas last year we undertook two fantastic initiatives in the name of charity.
WrapUp London
We were delighted to support WrapUp London by donating 20 pre-loved coats to their worthy cause. WrapUp London is one of the largest volunteering events in the city, where hundreds of people come together to collect, transport, sort, and distribute up to 30,000 warm coats, which are shared directly with frontline charities. Thank you to those who contributed and to Fergus and Luke for coordinating. We’re always happy to help where we can.
The Parkeray Foodbank Drive
We proudly partnered with the Trussell Trust again in the fight against food poverty by hosting our company-wide foodbank drive.
Parkeray Lite kindly lent a helping hand to the cause by dropping off and collecting food crates across 16 of our sites, including Parkeray HQ.
Not one to miss out on the action, our Wimbledon project led by Darren Knott and our supply chain members raised and donated food to the value of £280, which they dropped off to the Dons Local Action Group for distribution.
We’re proud to report that our appeal raised 42.50kg of food, which provided the Hackney Foodbank with four-day emergency parcels over Christmas. We also raised £200 for the effort, from ticket sales to our Christmas raffle.
A big thank you to those who contributed to these amazing initiatives.
