Team Parkeray Enters The Construction Industry Dragon Boat Challenge

Team Parkeray is preparing to take up oars for the second time in history as we get ready for the Construction Industry Dragon Boat Challenge. The fabulous event organised by NewWave Events with Media Partner, Building, is back for its 23rd year on May 18.

We are delighted to participate and defend our title as 2022 Champions and the top fundraiser for CRASH – the construction industry’s charity.

Representing Team Parkeray on the day will be Andy Johnson, Brian Hemmings, Chris McPherson, Dan Ryding, Graham Lees, Ivayla Ivanova, Jayson Bratt, Joseph Abbott, Karl Severs, Mike McCulloch, Ross Allen, and Steve La Roche. And to cheer them on while acting as reserves are Ally Grint, Carrieanne Fasolino, Roseanna Hart and Zoe Flint.

With over 40 teams competing over the 150m racecourse, there will be two rounds of heats against stiff competition, followed by the semi-final and final, where we hope to hold on to our title as winners.

We aim to raise £2,000 for CRASH, which will help support homelessness charities and hospices with their construction projects. To make a donation to this worthy cause, please visit our fundraising page here.
