Ricky Hedges

With an abundance of practical construction experience, Ricky previously worked for a ceiling and partitioning contractor before his natural career progression took him through site manager up to project manager where he is today. With nearly 20 years in the industry Ricky is a bit of a perfectionist and some might say workaholic!

Focused and driven he is an integral part of our Lite team. He believes that first and foremost from day one, quality is the key and thrives on seeing the all the hard work pay off when the project is completed and is handed over to a happy client.

Outside of work, family is everything to Ricky however when he does get some spare time it’s all about cars. If he isn’t going to motor show or meets you will find him under to bonnet working on modifying his own car.

Ken Singh

For someone that always liked working with his hands and making things happen it was inevitable that Ken would make a success as a carpenter and manager. For Ken the devil is in the detail, he has a keen eye for quality and subscribes very much to building things right fist time with no short cuts. Ken’s management approach is gentile, respectful and communicative and goes about his work in quiet but assured manner.

A keen fitness fan that somehow manages to combine early morning runs, boxing classes and rugby fitness coaching with the rigors of day to day life.

All or nothing

Lesley Brewster

Lesley joined Parkeray in summer 2014 and brought her wonderful laugh, quirky sense of humour and boundlessly creative ideas to the marketing team.

Her passion for all things marketing started when she was about 7 and at Heathrow, off to visit relatives in Barbados: she became fascinated with the airline’s marketing material and later wrote to other airlines requesting they send her theirs! This enthusiasm turned professional when Lesley set up Hotminute, a lifestyle and events online publication, and later started her career in marketing in the fit out construction industry before joining Parkeray.

Lesley has a wide range of interests outside of work, from attending unusual gym classes to car design, popcorn (strictly “sweet and salty” only), board games and everything in between. Everything but snow, which should be banned, according to Lesley!

Chris Blencowe

Chris has worked his way up to Environmental & Sustainability Director after working as an external consultant to Parkeray for a number of years. Chris has worked on a number of large-scale and high-profile developments in and around the City of London including 20 Fenchurch Street, Principal Place and Moorgate Exchange, working for clients such as Google, Waitrose, Volkswagen Financial Services and Bloomberg. His experience with sustainability assessment methods means that he has a broad knowledge of the sustainability issues faced by different projects.

Chris keeps himself busy at the weekends cycling, walking the dog, or just spending quality time with his young family. His newest hobby is green woodcarving, a form of traditional woodworking applying different carving techniques using traditional edged tools

Let life be a daring adventure or nothing

Terry Tracey

Terry joined us as project manager in 2000 and then in 2012 turned his attention to Health & Safety, gaining his first NEBOSH qualification that year. Since then he has progressed to Health and Safety Manager and then Director where he uses his extensive experience to oversee and advise our health and safety team on all Parkeray projects both Interiors and Lite.

His passion and allegiance to Parkeray is matched by his passion for a good, practical, pragmatic health and safety approach. Terry has a real sense of pride in his work and his attention to detail while carrying out safety audits is uncompromising.

Away from work Terry has a passion for fitness and you will often find him at the gym. He is also a lover of music…. listening to anything from country to rock. His first record; 1972, 45″ T Rex, Metal Guru which he played over and over on his Mum’s old radiogram.

The grass never grows on a busy street

Shantel Lewis

Shantel joins our estimating team with over 10 years’ admin experience. Prior to arriving at Parkeray, Shantel worked within the industry as a senior administrator for a building control company.

Thriving under pressure and supremely organised (she has a folder for everything!) Shantel works alongside our estimating coordinator Heather, to ensure our estimating team’s operations run as smoothly as possible.

Outside of her nine to five, Shantel likes to spend time socialising with friends and travelling, even though she has a fear of flying! Her favourite place to visit is Turkey and having found her own idea of paradise there, she just can’t get enough and returns at least once a year.

Matt Savage

Matt joined the Lite team in 2012 as Project Manager and worked his way to becoming a Contracts Manager in 2023. He has completed projects for high profile clients such as the Natural History Museum, Kingston University and St Mary’s in Twickenham.

Matt’s three children are his pride and joy and when he’s not spending time with them he loves sport, anything from football to snowboarding. Not afraid of a challenge or two, Matt loves crazy outdoor pursuits including parachute jumps and has conquered the ‘tough mudder run’!

Mike Murray

Ask anyone why they stay here so long and the answer is always ‘the people’.

Mike always says and believes that Parkeray is a company “about people, for people”, get that right and the rest should be plain sailing.

For Mike, construction is about perspective and just doing the simple things well. Say what you do and do what you say, work hard, play hard, get on with people and have fun.

His indulgence is Rugby; he was there when Jonny kicked that goal! When time permits he loves to dance, his early years saw him no stranger to catsuits and sequins.

Mike, Mick, Mickey, everybody’s friend, leader and confidante, is always available to take your call.

Building is not about bricks and mortar, it’s about people
