The Construction Industry Dragon Boat Challenge is back

The eagerly anticipated Construction Industry Dragon Boat Challenge is back for 2024. We are thrilled to announce our participation in the event for the third consecutive year.

Despite finishing in fourth place in 2023, Our team made a lasting impression by claiming first place as ‘Best Dressed’ as the ‘Parkeray Poppins’. Additionally, our fundraising efforts were ‘Highly Commended’, with a generous £1,200 contribution to CRASH, the construction industry’s charity.

Our determined team, comprising Ally Grint, Amelia Marshall, Archie Bigham, Chris Blencowe, Dan Ryding, Jack Shepherd, Jayson Bratt, Joseph Abbott, Nathan Wright, Riley Morse, Ross Allen, and Steve La Roche, are all set to throw oars and, while striving to recapture our winning title from 2022.

CRASH is the construction industry’s charity that helps homelessness and hospice organisations with their construction projects – creating places that care for people when they’re at their most vulnerable. Once again, we will look to raise as much funds as possible for this fantastic charity. To show your support and cheer our team on – head to our JustGiving page here and hit the donation button. 😊

The Construction Industry Dragon Boat Challenge is set to take place on Thursday, 23rd May at Surrey Docks Water Sports Centre, welcoming all spectators with free entry.
